African Population Conference | Malawi, 2024

In her role as the Family Planning News Network (FPNN) host, Nthanda Manduwi, has a conversation with outgoing President of the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS) Dr. Donatien Beguy at the ninth African Population Conference (APC) in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Hosted by UAPS, the theme of this year’s APC was: “Road to 2030: Leveraging Africa’s Human Capital to Achieve Transformation in a World of Uncertainty” Watch as Dr. Beguy and Nthanda discuss this theme in action, especially as it pertains to youth, migrant populations, and urban settlements in Africa.
